On May 2, 2017, We visited the Jewish Synagogue in Minatoku Takanawa on Israel National Day of Judaism.We talked with Rabbi Mendy Dakekechi.

ダビデ紋の指輪・鹿の紋様の指輪、漬物石が残されている経緯
1959年の伊勢湾台風の影響で1952年の発掘調査のあとが全て流されてしまい、発掘場所の位置が分らなくなっていました。
暫定的に現在の場所に小祠を設け遺跡場所としています。
高根三教氏（1919 〜 2010年11月4日）は、父親の高根正教氏（1883 〜 不明年）が1952年の白山義高氏の古代ユダヤ遺跡の発掘の関与していたことを知って、1996年頃に再発掘調査されました。高根三教氏が再発掘した場所からは何も出てこなかったため、ブルーシートを掛けて放置されていました。
その状況をみて、魚谷佳代さんが四洲園のフロントにたまたまいたオーナーの妹さんに
「遺跡を埋め戻してください」
と助言しに行きます。
そして、癌で入院していたオーナーの森重吉氏から、高根三教氏に埋戻しの要請がなされます。
それから4か月後、高根三教氏の文化活動を支えていた建設会社経営の井上正氏（1935年2月29日生）が3日かけて埋戻し作業をしています（1996年）。
作業を終えて道具類を海辺で洗っているとき、漬物石に最適と思われる石を見つけて自宅に持ち帰ります。
また、人夫が洗っている熊手の先に土の塊が引っかかってきたので、貝が入っているかもしれないと思ってそのまま持ち帰ります。
土と石が乾いて現れてきたものが上の画像のものです。
1952年の発掘から44年経過しています。
（※）白山義高氏の奥さん「武智ます子」さんは1915年ごろの生まれと推測されているので、高根三教（かずのり）氏は白山義高氏より10歳ほどお若い方だったと推測できます。下の集合写真に69歳の高根正教氏（1883 〜 不明年）か、33歳の高根三教氏（1919 〜 2010年11月4日）が映っていれば資料価値が上がります。
【推測】なぜ漬物石や指輪が残されているのか？
ダビデ紋の指輪・鹿の紋様の指輪、漬物石が残されている経緯。
一番可能性がある推論は２つ。
（1）昭和9年に森重吉さんが湯殿拡張のために掘った残土を海に捨てたもの。昭和9年の掘削作業は、湯殿拡張なので、残土には関心がない。
この仮定が正しいとすると、漬物石や指輪がでた周辺からまだ何かが出てきます。
（2）発掘当時を知る人物の思い出としてこういう品物を置いた。
発掘当時を偲ぶ状況証拠にはなる。
本当にこの遺跡の位置は面白い。
